Bronze. Silver. Gold. These represent the highest honors Girl Scouts can earn as Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors. All three awards give girls the chance to do big things while working on an issue thats captured their interest in a big way. Whether they want to plant a community garden at school and inspire others to eat healthily for the Bronze, advocate for animal rights for the Silver, or build a career network that encourages girls to become scientists and engineers for the Gold, theyll inspire others (and themselves). The first step for a girl interested in earning her highest award is participating in an Award Chat. Award Chats will discuss the guidelines for earning the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards. The chats will be hosted as a zoom meeting, which will consist of a PowerPoint training that outlines the guidelines, paperwork and deadlines. It will also include a question-and-answer opportunity, so troop leaders, parents and girls will feel more confident in their journey towards these awards. The chats will be 30-mintues long. A confirmation email with a zoom link will be sent out the day of the event.
